When the going gets tough, you can count on your LEAP
If you’re ever trapped in a remote location and urgently need to send a distress alert, the last thing you’d want is a flat battery in your tracker.
The Lithium Polymer battery on your LEAP tracker can last up to a year, depending on the app personalities used.
The LEAP tracker has 3 fail-safe measures in place, so that the unthinkable never happens:
- The LEAP app lets you see exactly how much battery charge is left in the LEAP tracker device. So you’ll know when it’s time to re-charge
- It will send you a low-battery alert when it runs low
- Email alerts will also be sent to your registered email address, when the battery is low, in case you miss the alert on your app
So you can top up the battery before heading off somewhere remote. The USB Micro-B connector on the LEAP tracker lets you plug in the provided USB cable to charge the device.
